Jonosil – Indústria e Comércio de Ferragens, Lda. was founded in Paredes – Águeda, in 1973 by the Silva family.

With a clear objective to develop tools and our own production, we began our activity in the area of ​​furniture hardware, supplying large production areas in the north of Portugal, such as Paços de Ferreira, Rebordosa, Freamunde, Lousada, etc.

In an evolutionary and business expansion process, we increased and diversified the range of products offered to our customers, including accessories for kitchen furniture, wardrobes and construction. Our customer base is spread across the country, Europe and Africa and has been increasing year after year, thanks to the focus on customer relationship and satisfaction.

With the adaptation to the challenges imposed by the market, we have developed several custom projects, a clear response to the challenges imposed by the market, competition and above all by our customers.

For more than 20 years, we have also invested in the production of metal components for hives, supplying the main resellers of beekeeping equipment in Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, etc.

With the aim of monitoring new developments and market trends and with the objective of maintaining our quality standards, innovation and optimization of the production process, we have been present at the main global fairs. To achieve this, we also work closely and often visit our suppliers spread across China, Turkey, Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal, with whom we maintain a close and trusting relationship.

The quality of our products, proximity and customer service, integrity and trust from our customers and suppliers have guided us through these last 50 years.
